The World According To John Coltrane

I first heard John Coltranes album Blue train and I was blown away by the level of skill he possessed while playing. One major thing that blew me away by the album is that its just him playing the Saxophone and you do not get tired of hearing him play.

But back to the documentary above about Mr Coltrane. I never really knew that he was such an avid studier of different types of music. It makes perfect sense for whomever to do such a thing for their chosen field. I for one realized I need to start exploring different types of design from other countries instead of just focusing on whats happening here in the U.S.

Craigslist Joe Documentary

I first learned about this documentary when I found a trailer on reddit or some website. The other day I thought of it so I did some searching and I was able to find it on hulu. Me personally I never really understood the use for craigslist.

Here’s a little short review on the documentary.

The way that it was filmed fit well into the way the documentary was meant to be. Joe starts out in LA then he manages to make it all the way to new york stopping in various cities using craigslist. Then after New York he makes it to florida then new orleans then to San Francisco and finally back home.

Joe Spends 31 days living entirely off of craigslist. The people that he meets will show how great people actually are out there despite what the news portrays. After watching Craigslist Joe I now am paying more attention to craigslist.

Enjoy the documentary here for free.

Child of the 90s | Internet Explorer

When I first watched this commercial I was blown away. If you grew up in the 90’s you can relate easily to what they talked about in this commercial. The story they told made it even more relate-able. Because I for one grew up using Internet explorer and before that it was netscape navigator. But I’ll stick with using firefox

Well You all may have or may not seen American Airlines New Identity. If you have not give the video a watch above before continuing on reading. When I first came across the article on creativereview.co.uk I had no idea what of what to say. One thing I said was why did they ruin such a great identity.

More so why would they not have massimo involved with the rebranding. I’m pretty sure this would be his reaction or would it be?

What are your thoughts about the new american airlines rebranding?
