I can see why this commercial won some many awards even if its from 2007 (thats when it was uploaded to youtube). The message is so strong and easily understood.

Is it okay to be left handed?
This is a very clever commercial I came across about bullying. The way that we as a society no matter where we live tend to judge people and pick on them if just one little thing is different.
Only if there were commercials like this that ran on all children television networks.
Graffiti writers are the best advertisers
To many graffiti may seem as just a destructive thing to property and whatever else is written on by them. But the main thing that I noticed awhile ago was that graffiti writers get much more notoriety and exposure then many advertisements.
Many graffiti writers ultimate goal is to basically have their work seen. If you look in the picture above you can see the white trucks have some of the same names and letters on them. Meaning that as these trucks go out and around various New York cities they will be seen by a large amount of people.
So when the next time your out around your town and you see graffiti just think of placement and location and also how many people will be able to see their work.
Old Spice Muscle Music
I really wonder how much old spice is paying Terry Crews for these advertisements. But whoever decided to have him did a great job. I just thought back to when I was younger and I used to use old spice deodorant. Even though that’s just a random fact about me.
Do you think Old Spice using terry crews was a good idea?
Why No one is reading your signage

These are two pictures of horrible signage I found around town. If you look at the first one the overall concept does not seem as if it was clearly thought out. Also the Blue background drowns out the name. Just think of how fast some people drive nowadays and the short amount of time you have to actually read a name. Mostly I feel they over did it with the butterflies on the signage.
The second sign is just utterly horrible. I believe its for an insurance company but don’t quote me on that. First lets start with the typography whatever they are trying to do is way too much. Plus the gradient in the background makes the type more illegible then it already is. The font looks like something you’d find on dafont.com. But these two pictures are just prime examples of how important signage is.
Some tips for good signage
1. Make sure you have clean and legible typography
2. The message has to be short and to the point just like a billboard
3. Have the sign where it will be seen
4. Choose colors that will be noticeable
How to Judge an AD DAVID DROGA STYLE
An interesting concept on how to Judge an ad. I’m pretty sure if I was producing ads I would be using this quite often.
