I’ll let the video do the talking. Because there is no such thing as an overnight success and there never will be such a thing.

Ralph A. Clevenger on how a stock photo made him almost one million dollars
I must say this is pretty amazing. I knew that stock photography does have this sort of capability. But to think near a million dollars off of a single photo. The way how something can spread and continue to spread if amazing.
‘American Dreaming’: Detroit’s golden age of auto design
I loved watching this mini documentary about the designing of cars. I was just a little shocked by how the designers work would be destroyed by the car companies they worked for. The companies probably destroyed their work because they did not want anyone to copy or do whatever else you could think.
Michael Bierut: The primitive power of logos
I was shocked when Michael said when we look at logos from a big corporation its not really happening in the logo its happening in our mind.
My god this was a mind blowing moment. Just thinking of the various logos that have literally no meaning at all or that are just simple shapes that represent an idea that means something.
Will.iam’s great amazing Logo design advice
If your logo cannot transform itself to other things and you still know what that logo is then thats a problem.
What the hell is Will.iam talking about in this video? Quite a bit of things in this video does not make any kind of sense at all. Especially the bit about logos and then he randomly starts about india and the language they have.
Could someone explain to me how a logo getting bigger would collapse? Whoever wrote this speech for him should’ve read it out loud first and actually consulted with a designer.
This whole video was cringe worthy nonetheless.
Milton Glaser New York Times
A really nice short documentary on Milton Glaser. I must say its always refreshing to listen to Milton speak.
Hearing Tarantino
I must say this was very interesting and it taught me how much sound is a very important aspect of tarantino’s films.
Seb Lester’s Doodling
I had found Seb lester’s instagram a while back. I must say I am constantly blown away and inspired by his work. One thing he started doing recently was freehand logos of famous brands. I was speechless at first by the results. Then it showed me how much is possible and broke down some barriers I had of many things only being able to be done on the computer.
But anyhow Check out the “Doodles” below

Anand Giridharadas: A tale of two Americas. And the mini-mart where they collided
This talk is one of the best TED talks I have ever watched. Immediately it touched my emotion in a deep level. Because of what the guy who the speaker is talking about went through. Because if something drastic was to happen to a person because of someone else how hard do you think it would be to forgive the attacker?
Have a great weekend everyone
