30 days of content (what I learned about building a creative audience)

I’m currently on a 60 day Journey of posting content. The plan definitely has been one that I feel has been getting me out of my comfort zone. I am glad that I changed my wallpaper on my phone with a quote that says follow your plan not your mood. Cause our mood can definitely get us off of our plan.

The other day I caught myself just wanting to not care about posting new content/designs anymore. But I’m going to stay committed to the Journey. Plus being able to get to the point mentally where I know this is asking me to give more of myself its worth it. Cause better to have more control of my future then just wish about it.

The thing I’ve learned about building a creative audience so far has taught me that having a community that is built on a solid foundation is important. Being authentic with them and not putting on a character to be more appealing. Cause there’s eventually a point where people will see through that.

Then next is believing in yourself and your work. Cause the work can be the best to you and if you present it many different ways. There is truly an audience for many different types of people. It’s all about presentation.

Then I’d say most important is to have fun with it. Because if you are creating anything and not having fun with it then it’s going to be difficult to continue. Cause you’ll get bored and then move on to something else. This is a great thing to remember with whatever you chose to do.
