The king and the pawn go into the same box

This quote is one that I came across recently. The overall significance made me understand things a lot better. Because no matter what position that you are in the pawn and king go into the same box. If someone is in a higher position than you just remember the are really no different than you.

Well the overall stipulation is to not think of anyone being higher up than you. You want to keep the mentality of that you can compete and be just as good as them. I personally used to think that I would not be able to have the same mentality as someone who is successful.

The best way is to learn how successful people go about doing things. A great example is to watch documentaries on the people who inspire you. One very good recent series is the dailyvee from Gary Vaynerchuk. Just seeing the overall grind and how hard he works inspires me. Also it lets me know that I am not executing like I should be.

So what If I am working a graveyard shift there’s no reason for me to not be executing. So being honest with yourself is a great thing to know what you are not doing and then get up off your ass and do it. Remember the people who are doing what you want to do they are executing.

The truth is all there is

The truth is all there is no matter how you try to avoid it. There are many people who are frauds and pretend to be something and or someone they are not. But you know that is not our problem. As long as you are being transparent with what you are doing and who you are.

Another thing is to not sell yourself short with anything you do. If you know that there is something you do not know there is nothing wrong with admitting you do not know that. I will be the first to say I used to be scared of admitting such things.

But over time I realized that I was being more honest and thorough with myself by not pretending. Trying daily to not fall into the trap of those who talk about doing things but when you honestly know they only like the title and telling people about things they are not actually doing.

Remember this Honesty is always the best policy it will save you a lot of headaches and suffering.

Failing Publicly and learning from it

Well I want to be honest with you that I completely failed with my etsy store. The idea that I had for my store was not good as I expected it to be. Of course I did the a good amount of promoting. But the thing was not having control.

Another thing was for example you all would visit here and then have to leave and go visit another site. In regards to not having control was more so that I could have my store closed for no reason. The plans are to regroup and come up with another game plan.

Possibly redesigning my site overall. I have been wanting to revamp to a more professional looking site and something that is more navigable. I also want to say thank you all for following along with me and all of your support.

Because I have at the bottom of store/freebies section of this site more wallpapers will be updated soon. But I failed to do so. I am sorry for not updating more often. As I stated earlier I am going to regroup and relaunch my calligraphy work the correct way.
